Your favorite (and only) Vegas Golden Knights mascot is back! Did you miss me? Of course you did! I can’t believe we’re in April already! Time sure does fly when your team is crushing it on the ice! Speaking of crushing it, nobody goes harder than this month’s featured Vegas Golden Knights Collectible Player Bookmark star, Ryan Reaves! There’s so much to say about Ryan. The Winnipeg native is one of our toughest players, known for his aggressive style. As our enforcer, he’s always got his teammates’ backs. But he’s more than just muscle. Reaves played a key role in our historic playoff run in 2018, scoring the series-winning goal against the Winnipeg Jets to advance us to the Stanley Cup Finals. The very next season, he racked up a career-high nine goals! There must be something in the water here in Las Vegas that brings out the best in us. Reavo has seen a lot of action outside of The Fortress, too. He’s renewed one lucky couple’s wedding vows as “Reverend Reavo” following a contest in 2019. He also appeared on an episode of the Paramount Network’s “Bar Rescue” in 2020. For all his non-hockey endeavors, he’s probably best known for launching his own craft beer company, 7Five Brewing Co. – a nod to the number he’s worn throughout his more than 10-year NHL career. He’s even planning on opening his own brewery here in town. Since joining the Golden Knights, Ryan has really embraced the city of Las Vegas, and the city has shown him lots of love right back. Is it too soon to nominate him for mayor? But he is way into more than just hockey and business, though. He filled me in on his favorite books, movies, music, and more which you can check out below using your free library card! What are your current favorite books, movies, and music?
