The Library District Continues Vegas Golden Knights Partnership With Season V Collectible Player Bookmarks

LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — The Las Vegas- Clark County Library continues its literacy partnership with the Vegas Golden Knights.
The #GetCarded Challenge has become a year-round promotion to encourage the public to sign up for a free library card.
The card includes DJ classes, a podcasting studio, music, and video production facilities, computer labs for all ages, free Wifi, live performances, art exhibits, and more. Everything is free!
Any can sign up for a library card at your nearest Las Vegas-Clark County Library with a photo ID and proof of address.
Current cardholders who wish to exchange their existing library card for a Vegas Golden Knights card can also do so at their nearest Library District branch.
"We are very excited to continue our partnership with the Las Vegas-Clark County Library District by announcing the launch of the team's brand new markers," said Eric Tosi, Vegas Golden Knights Chief Marketing Officer. “The collaboration shows that constant growth and improvement in literacy off the ice is valued as much as any trait found on the ice. In addition to books, the Library District offers an arsenal of opportunities to help benefit our community. ”
Kevin Watson, the Executive Director of the Library District explained that the VGK team collectible leaderboards, featuring featured players, continue to be wildly popular.
“We've even been called by people from other states, as well as teachers who give us class assignments based on favorite items from the players' library,” he explained.
The VGK Scoreboard Series allows local hockey fans to learn more about their favorite players on the Library District website at LVCCLD.org/VGK, where they will find a featured VGK webpage along with a favorite Gila Monster blog. of all, titled “Chance's Chat. "
Each scoreboard design will include the player's team photo and the team's traditional black and gold colors. The first bookmark, featuring Shea Theodore, is now available at all 25 Las Vegas-Clark County Library locations throughout the valley, as well as the City National Arena. Players are subject to change.
In addition to collecting all of the VGK Library District bookmarks, another way fans can show their hockey pride is to sign up for the Official Vegas Golden Knights “Vegas Born” Library Card.
